The "American Patriot's Bible" is a Hot, Steaming, Pile of Blasphemous, Idolatrous Feces

I am ashamed to report that the American evangelical church has fallen to a new and horrific low by producing what can only be described as the most blasphemous, idolatrous publication I could imagine.

Thomas Nelson publishing has released a "study" Bible that interweaves stories from American wars about American soldiers, quotes from American politicians and generals, and editorials about American history into the TEXT OF THE BIBLE!!!

Replacing the nonviolent Kingdom ethic of Jesus is the nationalistic, violent ethic of just about any nation in world history.

Greg Boyd has been blogging a small sampling of the many, many notes he has compiled from his review. You can read them here, here, and here.

I too have been shocked an horrified at this. Although there appears to be market for this feces (otherwise why would they publish it), a google search reveals the majority of hits are bloggers disgusted by it.

I went on Amazon and left a review. I suggest that you do the same.

A 'bible' such as this is a strong indication of the reality of the 'Church of Lukewarem Ecumenical Laodiceanism' - which is the majority in this increasingly wicked, perverse, and 'spiritually black' country. For the majority of the non-religious and the 'religious are constantly and increasingly rejecting anything that has to do with "the Lord God Almighty" and Biblical "truth". Yet again:
"... every man did that which was right in his own eyes."
(Judges 21:25 ~ KJV)

Why do the majority that call themselves 'Christians' - both behind the pulpit and those who warm the pews - consider 'patriotism' to this unborn baby sacrificing 'Sodomite Republick of Amerika' to be their primary duty?
And keep on saying that 'we are the greatest country in the world'? {in their self righteous judgmentalism - which country is #2 - or # 153?}

For those very-very few that truly are Biblically "born again" believers and followers of "the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" - our true Biblical allegiance is to "all saints" (Ephesians 6:18 ~ KJV) - regardless of which country they may live in.
